By using the right routines and understanding the TLC needed for that extra-special hair type, you too can walk with your head held high with confidence in those curls!
Join me at my salon of sanctuary in Wivenhoe, Essex for consultations, cuts, and training. I offer VIP closed-salon sessions as well as regular curl-only appointment slots.

Hi, I’m Anna, a Lorraine Massey certified Curl by Curl specialist.
I am the founder and owner of Headfirst Hair Salon in Wivenhoe, Essex – a local salon with global aspirations!
After 15+ years of helping clients unleash the beauty of their curls through education, consultation and curly cuts I decided to take the leap and go to New York to train with the one and only Lorraine Massey – the originator of the Curly Girl Method & Movement and founder of CurlyWorld Salon.
It was a magical experience with a wonderful team and with the undivided guidance of Lorraine I was able to hone my skills in curl-by-curl cutting, and further my knowledge in caring for curls.
It is now my dream to share my knowledge with people all over the world! Whether you are looking to unleash those luscious locks, or you want to train to become a curl consultant yourself, my salon doors are wide open and waiting for you to come in.
